Vividha Report 2022

On 27th of August 2022, the Primary Wing of Ahlcon Public School conducted our Annual Inter-School Fiesta, VIVIDHA- 2022-23. The quest of this flagship event has always been to promote and enrich the diversity amongst school students. To this end, it brought out the best of literary and cultural talents of the students from Delhi-NCR and other states in a healthy & competitive environment, conducive for their overall growth. Many reputed schools participated with full enthusiasm, unveiling the hidden flair, imaginations and innovations of their little ones to the audience and bagged various prizes.

Building on the themes from last year, in order to inculcate Sustainable Development Goals culture practically into the school structure and education, the theme of this year’s event was based on “No Poverty" and “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions". It was aimed at opening the floor to discourse on the sectoral role to reach SDG-1 and SDG-16 eventually, as these kids will be the torchbearers of the society we wish to be in years to come.

Ten competitions were organised in total namely "DAZIBAO"-Optical Art for classes I & II, "CONCOCTION"-Show and Tell in English for classes I & II, "LITTLE CHEF"-Salad Decoration for students of class III, "CREATIVE SPARK"-Tropical Art for class III, "HARMONY"-English Group Song for classes III, IV & V, "VAANI KALASK"-Chaupai Gayan for class IV , "WHIZQUIZ"-G.K. QUIZ for classes IV & V, "MATH-O-FUN"-Math Activity for classes IV & V, "RHYTHMIC BLISS"-Group Dance for classes IV & V and "TECHNO DOC"-Computer Activity for class V students.

VIVIDHA 2022 commenced with the principal’s address by Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht. The event was convened by Ms. Aparna Krishnamurtthi, co-ordinated by Ms. Mridula Renjit and compered by Ms. Sonika Sharma and Ms. Roopa Bhattacharya. The ceremony started with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and Saraswati Vandana, which was performed by our young, gifted performers. The results of all 10 categories were then announced. Different skilled and knowledgeable judges assessed every competition. The overall trophy was clinched by Apeejay School, Noida.

The event concluded with an encouraging speech by our honorable chief guest, Mr. Sumit Osmand Shaw, a well-known figure in the communications industry, in which he praised the efforts of all the participants and team VIVIDHA. Mr. Shaw is a journalist and creative director and has held positions with companies including BBC, MTV, Anjana TV, and others. He is also a recipient of many prestigious awards.

Eventually, our headmistress, Ms. Seema Soni, gave the vote of thanks. After that, we sang the school song and caught a glimpse of the VIVIDHA of yesteryears.
