SILICO BATTLES v18.1 REPORT SESSION: 2022-23
Souvenier club of Ahlcon Public School organized the grandest and the most awaited technological extravaganza of Delhi NCR-Silico Battles v18.1, on November 17 & 18, 2022. The fest had 11 wonderful events that gave the students the platform to showcase their creative ideas. 45 schools participated in Online Event CYQUEST and 30 schools participated in Offline events. Over 500 students participated in the both Online and Offline events and the fest proved to be a stupendous success.
As per the tradition of the school, the fest commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony led by the Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, the Manager, Mr. P.K. Bhatnagar, all the HMs, the Convenor of the Club, Mr. Jagdish Prasad along with the President of the Souvenier club, Pustak Pathak and Vice President, Sumiran Gusain.
The Club Convenor, Mr. Jagdish Prasad welcomed the participants with his speech and motivated them with his wise words. President of the club Pustak Pathak also welcomed participants with his welcome speech. An Intro Video about Sillico Battles, made by the Souvenier Club students was also presented before the participants which gave an overview of the event. The Principal, Dr. Bisht encouraged the participants to work hard and make the event successful. Judges from related professional fields were invited. They were presented with the mementos as a token of gratitude by the principal, Manager, HMs and Club Convenor.
The second day of the fest started with the finals of various events. After the completion of all the events, the prize distribution ceremony commenced. The Principal and Manager, welcomed the judges for the day by presenting mementos. The memento presentation ceremony was followed by the most awaited prize distribution ceremony. Surviving all the tough competition, SOMERVILLE SCHOOL NOIDA, proved to be the best of all and bagged the Champions Rolling Trophy. The Runners- up Trophy was bagged by APEEJAY SCHOOL, NOIDA.
The event ended with the vote of thanks presented by the Vice President Sumiran Gusain.
